strategic organizing center Rebrand (2020-2021)
IN COLLABORATION WITH WIDE EYE CO.
In 2020, the leadership at Change to Win Federation decided it was time for a rebrand that reflects the evolution of the organization’s identity from a traditional labor union in competition with the AFL-CIO to a sophisticated think tank and advocacy group.
I led the entire process, from meeting with vendors and fielding offers to the actual design phase and ultimately, deciding on the final logo. While I can’t take credit for designing the logo itself, I was deeply involved in the design process and the implementation of the new branding.

COUNCIL INSIDER PODCAST (2024)
NEW YORK CITY COUNCIL
During the New York City budget negotiations of 2024, my digital team at the City Council decided to experiment with a limited-run podcast hosted by Finance Committee Chair (and hardcore punk musician) Justin Brannan, wherein he interviewed advocates and issue experts to discuss the many funding cuts Mayor Adams made over the proceeding 9 months.
I developed the entire brand myself and while we did not continue this foray into podcasting, I’m very proud of the results.

NYC Council Youtube branding (2023-2025)
NEW YORK CITY COUNCIL
One of the major changes I made after taking on the role of Digital Director for the NYC Council was to focus heavily on livestreaming. Every day, dozens of things are happening at City Hall, from council hearings to press conferences, rallies and more. Since that time, the Council’s YouTube following quadrupled and we started devoting more time to the platform, including by creating custom thumbnail graphics for each of the council’s 35 committees.

Speaker Adrienne Adams’ State of the City Address (2023-2025)
Every year, the Mayor of New York City and Speaker of the NYC Council give their respective “State of the City” addresses, outlining their vision for the next year. I branded each of Speaker Adams SOTC’s since 2023, which began as just logos, posters and other simple materials for a humble speech in a NYCHA common space and evolved into a large, theatrical event at venues like Jazz at Lincoln Center and the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
For the 2025 State of the City, I managed the creative effort from start to finish with our team of designers, producing everything from print, digital, motion graphics, and more. I also got to dabble in a bit of stage management, but learned quickly it’s not my thing!
